Day 1
Chilaw
Arrive in Sri Lanka and relax ahead of your two weeks tour of Sri Lanka. Explore the locale by cycle or walk in a working Coconut plantation. Witness the toddy tapping process carried out by a worker in the estate. Toddy is a traditional alcoholic drink made by fermenting the sap of the coconut's flower. Stay in a small hotel in a Coconut Plantation Hotel in Chilaw.
Day 2, 3 & 4
Sigiriya
Explore the glory of bygone era in Anuradhapura. Cycle through remote villages with a villager to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple and take an afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park to see the Elephants in the wild. Stay in a small hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 5 & 6
Kandy
Visit Temple of Tooth Relic during the evening sermon and experience the way of local living with the Sri Lankan family. Stroll to the market and cook a Sri Lankan meal at a home stay.
