Day 1

Arrive and stay closer to the airport, relax. Overnight stay in Negombo at a small hotel closer to the beach and restaurants, a good base to start your tour in Sri Lanka.

Day 2, 3 & 4

Kandy

Walk to explore the highlights of Kandy such as Temple of Tooth, Peradeniya Botanical Garden, markets, bazaar and try local food in various local eateries in Kandy town. Take a day trip to the very heart of cultural triangle, Sigiriya. Explore the man-made marvel of Sigiriya Rock Fortress and ancient cave temple of Dambulla. Stay in a family owned small hotel in Kandy.

Day 5 & 6

Nuwara Eliya

Take the scenic train to Nuwara Eliya, the very heart of Tea growing region of Sri Lanka to explore the Tea Gardens and take a scenic nature trail in Horton Plains National Park for stunning views of the grassy plains and the valley below. Stay in a small hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 7

Udawalawe

Game drive in Udawalawe National Park to see the Elephants in the wild. Stay in a small rustic eco lodge in Udawalawe.

Day 8 & 9

Galle/Unawatuna

Relax by Unawatuna beach, stroll to try various beach bars and restaurants famous for seafood. Explore the historical Galle Fort.

Day 10
